Junior Secondary School

At AIC, we aim at grooming our students for challenges of the tertiary education both within Nigeria, Africa and elsewhere. Thus we prepare our students for National Examinations in the country where we are located such as BECE and NECO. Our students in the junior school also participate in exchange programmes and competitions both locally and internationally.

Plan and Details

The first three years of Junior Secondary School introduces people to more advanced skills in preparation for the junior School Examinations. The Students are encouraged to use the study skills learnt through primary school to prepare them for the greater challenges ahead. Students who have fulfilled the necessary requirements are presented by the school to sit for the basic Education Certification Examination (BECE).

Active participation on co-curricular programmmes offer them an opportunity to interact with peers and staff outside the classroom environment. Students are given the opportunity to enhance, improve their social life, gain self, confidence, acquire leadership skills and learn how to effectively function as members or leaders of the team.

At Africa International College (AIC), we encourage students to set their own personal goals and develop their individual potential. We also maintain a balance of academic, artistic and sporting activities. Every child participates in variety of sports and at all levels.
