A home maker is one who manages a household. He/she should know the art and science of home making. The home makers club also known as ‘Do it Yourself’ (DIY) club aims at preparing students for life. It provides students with basic principles of building a godly and exiting home that will influence the community positively. It inculcates in young minds the ability to build their homes through creativity, hard work, patience and faithfulness.

The club is committed to teach manipulative skills through carefully chosen club activities which include:

• Drinks making
• Decoration
• Family life

MUSIC CLUB

Music: a gift of God, is an essential component of our human existence that gives Rhythm to our lives from cradle to the grave. It has been expressed in various ways over the ages through its aesthetic, spiritual, psychological, historical, scientific, therapeutic and economic values.

The music club is a practical and creative platform that helps the students discover their life’s rhythm, pursue their passions and become their full musical potential for a responsible future.

The music club helps to give the students a practical training in various instruments, singing and stage performances and creates a suitable and favorable musical environment that raises the next generation musicians.

Music education has proven to enhance the child’s IQ and mathematical skills, develop self-esteem, improve mental health, social values and language skills amongst other benefits.

The music club is an extra-curricular platform for Gifted and interested students from all grade levels and age groups.

CHESS & SCRABBLE CLUB

Chess and Scrabble club is a club created to help build the mind and reasoning of students. Chess and Scrabble are games that teach planning and prediction skills. These games prepare you to acquire several moves against your opponent. Chess requires intensive thinking and strategizing which are skills applicable in real life while scrabble improves one’s vocabulary bank and spoken English. That’s why members of this club are smart kids.

Chess and Scrabble have grown beyond just ordinary games to a profession; the need to catch them young.

LITERACY & CREATIVITY CLUB

The Literacy & Creativity club is one of the fundamental clubs in school that oversees to the intellectual growth and development of the students to enable them compete favorably with their counterparts anywhere within and outside the country.

The club has more specific importance in acquiring the following objectives;

• Creating an atmosphere of ease and relaxation to practice English.
• Helping learners use standard English in their practical life.
• Increasing fluency accents and building confidence to think and speak English during debates or dramas.
• To help students learn correct English pronunciation.
• Giving the students freedom from conventional academic syllabi, exams, and learning.
• Integrating students’ talents, needs, and interests with the English teaching processes in drama.
• Helping them gain a stage of courage through different activities.
• Providing opportunities for students to improve listening skills and practice speaking interactively.
• Creating opportunities for students to express their opinions.
• To equip the learners with the necessary skills for external competitions.
• To carry out cultural, academic, and recreational activities in order to promote the use of the English language in the context of school.

ICT/ROBOTIC CLUB

ICT/Robotic club is created to empower students with IT skills handle, operate, solve and relate with current and future IT challenges in the world. We exist to teach student web design (HTML and CSS), coding and programming languages (python, scratch etc.), robotics (using Mblock) and many more latest IT innovations. We partner with students to develop their IT innovation and capability. We discover, support and create enabling environment for student’s IT innovations and projects. We prepare them for IT and science competitions and exhibitions within and outside the country. We aspire to groom and equip little IT professionals with ICT skills to handle the technology-enabled future.

NISSMUN CLUB

Nigerian International Secondary Schools Model United Nations (NISSMUN) club mainly for senior secondary school students, is highly deepened in the urge and rising need to involve young people in participating and simulating the decision-making processes of the United Nations within the Nigeria context.

NISSMUN is a non-governmental organization, recognized and accredited by the Federal Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and has a Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council.

It has distinguished itself as an organization committed to educating and guiding young people in preparing them as leaders of tomorrow.

NISSMUN practices authentic simulation of the negotiating forums of the United Nations Organization where participants represent different member states and have the opportunity to improve their negotiation, communication and problem solving skills required in every field of life. Members familiarize with the operations of the organization, enlarge their knowledge about the foreign policies of the represented states and thus improve their diplomatic skills.

Every year, the organization makes a deep impression on the lives of thousands of youths across Nigeria and beyond through the continual and successful hosting of its national Model United Nations conferences.

GREAT ACHIEVERS CLUB

This is where ideas are explored, developed and deployed in our students because ideas rule the world (Gen1:26-28).

Great Achievers Club is a platform where students acquire entrepreneurial skills that will enable them stand the test of time and impact their world positively (Rom8:19-20).

It is a destiny molding palace where the picture of the future of young minds begin to unfold.

YOUNG FARMERS CLUB

The main objective of the young farmers’ club is to train students on how to grow what they eat.

Students are exposed to the practical aspects of agriculture where they learn how to cultivate gardens and common crops that can grow in their homes. They have exposures through excursions that demonstrate the reality of the potential in the agricultural sector in preparation for career choice and life.

MATHEMATICS & OLYMPIAD CLUB

Mathematics provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor. Mathematics club helps students develop creative analytical and problem solving skills which are highly desired in our world today.

Mathematics helps in understanding and simulating real-life challenges that covers all aspects of life – Global warming and climate change, renewable energy, sustainable production, seamless Health Care delivery among others.

Mathematics is all about solving problems and is a universal language irrespective of the language you speak.

Mathematical knowledge plays a crucial role in understanding the content of other school subjects such as sciences, social studies, economics, music, arts among others.

The club makes mathematics fun and prepares students for Competitions outside the school.
