Management Staff

Africa International College is governed by a team of multi-disciplinary professionals who have made their marks in the respective fields. They advise and provide policy frameworks which guide the smooth running of the college.

The academic staff is comprised of highly motivated foreign and local professionals who are committed, experienced and dedicated to their work.

Lydia Abaga (Mrs.)
Principal

Mrs Abaga graduated from the University of Jos with a Bachelor degree in Special Education. After she graduated, she worked as a Trainer at the Great Commission Movement of Nigeria where she trained various staff across Africa.

She moved to become a Facilitator for Peace and Reconciliation of Gender Rights. Thereafter, she advanced her education and received a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and established the first Guidance and Counselling Department in a Secondary school in Jos, where she built a strong and friendly relationship with the students.

In 2007 Mrs Abaga moved to Africa International College Abuja where she again pioneered the Guidance and Counselling Department providing the students with career guidance, subject choices and all-round support.

With a combined experience of over 30 years, Mrs Abaga has embraced her God-given potential to lead an Institution of this magnitude through Spiritual excellence.

Adekunle Bamigbala (Mr.)
Vice Principal, Academics

As Vice Principal, Academics, his responsibility involves coordinating the staff and students as well as the parents in matters of academics. He in addition, keeps important academic records of the school.

Mr. Bamigbala is a focused and goal-oriented man, who has a heart for the students and pushes them to excel both academically and morally.

Adigun, Olusegun Lott
Consultant, Education Programmes

Mr. Adigun Olusegun Lott is a Retired Deputy Director of Education. He is a prolific teacher, visual artist, and education evaluator. He was born on the Jos Plateau and attended primary school there. He also attended secondary school in Kwara State. He has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Degree in Fine Art from the then University of Ife (now Obafemi Awolowo University) Ile Ife.

Vice Principal, Administration

Her vision is to be driving force in showing the light of God to the young generation for impactful living
in a perverse generation. She is a friend, mother and teacher to the Students of Africa International

Caroline Yakubu (Mrs.)
Executive Secretary

Caroline Yakubu is an Educationist driven by a deep passion for excellent Christian Education. She is a School Administrator with over fifteen years of leadership experience and a teacher with over two decades of experience.
