Primary School

The primary school curriculum is designed to be well balanced. The academic programmes consist of a rigorous core multinational curriculum which aids our pupils in understanding its content.

Pupils are given the opportunity to discover and develop their potential.

The pupils are introduced to the world around them through: Projects and research, taught to inquire and to use and apply skills learnt.

In the upper primary, the curriculum becomes more specialized. Emphasis on self-discipline, personal organization, character development, taking responsibilities and core skills are made. Specialists teach the core subjects.

Daily School Schedule

• 7:20 am-7:50am – Arrival
• 7:50 am-8:00am – Class Assembly
• 8:00 am-10:00am – Lessons
• 10:00 am- 10:30 – Break
• 10:30 am-12:45pm – Lessons
• 12:45pm-1:00pm – Short Break/Snack Time
• 1:00pm-2:05pm – Lessons
• 2:05pm – Closings/Pick Up (Fridays: 12:30pm, Wednesdays 3:05pm)
• Sports Day: Tuesdays and Thursdays
• Club Days: Wednesdays
• General Assembly: Tuesdays (9:50am- 10:15 am)

SCHOOL UNIFORM LIST/GUIDELINES
Children are proud to wear the ACS uniform and it has many benefits such as giving a sense of belonging and making it easier for staff to identify children when on school trips. As all children are expected to wear the uniform, it can make a child feel uncomfortable if they are not dressed in the same way as other children at the school. Your co-operation is very much appreciated.

The Children are required to wear uniforms on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Tuesdays and Thursdays are for Sports days. On Sports days, the children wear their sports T-Shirt on Blue Jeans and White trainers.
