At ACS, we aim at grooming our students for the challenges of tertiary education both within Nigeria, Africa and around the world. Thus, we prepare our students for National Exams in the country where we are located, such as (BECE) and NECO. Our students in the Junior school also participate in exchange programmes and competitions both locally and internationally.
The first three years of junior secondary school introduces the pupils to more advanced skills in preparation for the Junior School Exams. The students are encouraged to use the study skills learnt through primary school to prepare them for the greater challenges ahead. Students who have fulfilled the necessary requirements are presented by the school to sit for Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), NEC and state level ERC Examinations.
At Africa Community School (ACS), we encourage pupils/students to set their own personal goals and develop their individual potential. We also maintain a balance of academic, artistic and sporting activities. Every child participates in variety of sports at all levels, from pre-school right up to Secondary School levels.
Our teaching team consists of individuals with professional competence. In Africa Community School, capacity building for teachers is designed to enhance their performance and productivity.
Active participation in co-curricular programmes offers them opportunities to interact with peers and staff outside the classroom environment. Students/Pupils are given the opportunity to enhance, improve their social life gain self-confidence, acquire leadership skills and learn how to effectively function as members or leaders of a team.
